Learning English is engaging ​in and out of the classroom.

At American Camp Experience students are met at their level and immersed in challenging classroom and real life environments designed to move proficiency levels higher faster.

Our unique mix of teaching style, experiential activities and home-stay immersion uses Americana to teach the English Language. Combined, these give students the academic AND conversational edge they need.  Using three instructional levels, our staff targets individual needs and focuses on all four areas of learning: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

 Vacationer - At this level, students are introduced to Basic English Skills.  They learn key words and phrases and participate in interactive exercises designed to boost confidence and inspire exploration of the English Language.

 Sojourner - Students at this level are prepared for future living in America.  Sojourner students engage in conversation   about daily activities focused on expanding vocabulary to successfully navigate everyday life in America. 

Resident - Advanced students become fluent through complex reading and speaking exercises.  Using English students learn to prepare and deliver public speeches and teach English. At the end of each week, resident students deliver the lesson to Vacationers helping to reinforce the understanding that all students can and do advance. ​

A typical day incorporates:

English vocabulary and skills students need for daily living
Interactive curriculum textbook designed for the full three weeks of study
Projects, such as ordering in a restaurant and producing a news program
Mentoring between proficiency levels
Exciting interactive adventures that challenge the mind and body
Full immersion sightseeing day in each city destination
Experiencing American family traditions with home-stay hosts
